Today, I declare my independence from the world of industrial civilization and dying empire.
At no point in my life has it been so clear what I need to do. It is time to implement my plan, beginning at this moment.

I Live in Two Worlds
I live in two worlds.
One is coming to an end, crumbling as we watch.
It is industrial civilization, powered by petroleum, mediated by electronics, ruled by financiers.
With each passing day, it becomes more brittle and reveals more of its essential inhumanity.
I do what I must to satisfy the demands of this world, but no more.
Unacknowledged by many, another world is beginning to emerge.
For now, much is unknown, but it is clear that our culture will shape this new world.
I seek to build a culture that is life affirming, just, and humane.
This is my most important work.
